    OT-Welder

I prefer wire welding. Most of my welding has been done with a Miller Mig welder. I made many of trailers from/for, a 6" bumper pull tilt beds for garden tractors to a 36 foot flat bed goose neck trailers. And as I said ALL done with a Mig Welder. Not sure why some would say wire welders was for...

    over running coupler

Hmmm... I have had a few spring loaded pins on couplers fail/come apart over the years and never once had a problem with my roll-pinned ORC. The more moving parts there are the more likely it'll fail. But I can see if you are removing it for other equipment other then a mower... Would be more...

    Rebuild time??

Does your engine still have the sleeves in them or have they been removed and over sized pistons used? Nice thing about these are the sleeves, just replace them and engine is good to go. But a few removed them to get a little extra power and once the cylinder wall wear down the engine is pretty...

    holes blown in 8n head

Katy, Check the engine and see if it turning over fine with the head off and the valves seem to be opening and closing fine. If it is.. I'd get a new head and gasket, bolt it down. Drain and change the oil as antifreeze in there is hard on the engine. It would be the cheapest route to go to...

    holes blown in 8n head

Katy, Sorry to hear about your problem. I agree with the guys. That fluid leaked from a fail head gasket into the cylinder/s and had no where else to go. With the towing and the torque it caused so much compression beyond what it could take and burst through the head. Did you ever notice a...

    2n brush hog attachment

To "clear out the underbrush and saplings in the woods" I to think you'd be under powered for that task. I think you'd be happier and get better results that you are wanting with a 5 footer... I've got an old 5' Massey Ferguson that I use for the same thing you are wanting and it has worked...

    Spark Regularity

OK, I correct myself... Valves have nothing to do with spark when you have the plugs out looking at the spark on the plug...

    Spark Regularity

If the new wires are copper core, you will easily see strands of copper wire in the end of the wire. If you are not sure, strip the rubber back. Any doubt, I"d replace them... Valves have no effect on your spark...
