    Yes. It is LED, im sure. I cant find the correct correct replacement fixture so I think I'm going to just leave it as is being that its not causing any issues.

    What "old" said in order! You may want to check radiator, hydraulics and motor oil levels just in case you get it started. Check fuel tank and make sure plenty of fuel, gravity fed. Check wiring and make sure nothing disconnected, check for battery voltage at the coil. Start with 4 steps "old"...

    Factotum, I was told on this forum a timing light couldn't be used because absence of harmonic balancer on thd 4 cyl flathead. What type of timing light do you use and how? I did check timing per the manual method, it was correct as far as I could see. I'm interested in a timing light method.

    Is my manual wrong? My 2N was converted to 12v so is their a difference? .015 or .025 gap for plugs? This manual is referencing original 6v. 015 gap for points.

    From my experience, i Bought a condeser and a coil, both were bad out of the box. You can check resistance on a new coil but it doesn't tell you if it's bad. Lesson learned myself. You can't test a condenser alone. Maybe a bench test will tell you if condeser is bad or good. My only...

    No, It doesn't have a seat switch Factotum. I agree, a clutch switch would have been nice but then again the era was almost 80 yrs ago. Surprised they have any safety at all. You know, the old switch is still installed, I don't know if that has anything to do with safeties still working or not...
