    Case SC and MM-U

In an auction today, a Case SC with eagle hitch and wide-front $325 and a MM U with wide front $225, I think they both went for scrap.

    Super 77 Hydraulics

I have a Super 77 that has the Lift assist for the cultivators. I would like to convert it over to a Hydraulic system with the I believe 2-remotes. Anywhere I can find one? I"m located in East Central Missouri.

odd ball 8n inline 6 engine need help

Front mount distributer or side mount? They have different water pumps. I got one for my son's Funk 6 cyl front mount from Kantor.com I have a NOS pump for a earlier 40's 6 cyl for sale. I overhauled it last summer and it runs sweet. The extra power is awsome. I also know of someone who has a...

Erskine V Plow Snow Blower 7 Foot

P.S.I forgot to answer 1 of your questions. If you take off 2' it will really crab you sideways. My dad's 5' had a 2' extension that you could put on the right side. It was behind a E-3 C0-0P. My son has a 7' behind his 8-n 6 cyl Funk and with the pto speed at 750-800 it REALLY moves the snow.

Erskine V Plow Snow Blower 7 Foot

I have a 7" Erskine (Berger Mfg) that I have had since about 1972. It is behind my 49 8n and has moved more snow than you can imagine here in SD and when I lived in MN. Yes, wet snow is a bear with many blowers but if it is dry I wouldn"t be without it. You may have to raise it up some and...

    block heater

I have had the same tank heater on my 8-n for about 35+ years. I put a 5/8 hose adapter in the drain plug on the left rear of the block and bought an adapter that is for 5/8 hose and threaded on the other end with 2 curved washers and a nut. Drill a hole in the lower hose, install adapter...

    12 volt conversion

I put a Delco alt. on my 48-8n but to get it to start charging without reving it up, I bought the smallest pulley (2 1/2")I could find that would fit the original belt. I bored out the pulley to fit the shaft and I don"t have to get much above idle to charge. I also put 12 volt fields in a 6...

    slopy orc on pto

My 8n is sloppy also but the wear is inside the orc. It still works well with my 7" Erskine smow blower that I have had since the early 70"s.

    8n Funk

The rears are 13-28 Montgomery Ward with that crooked L pattern. Harder than hockey pucks. The fronts are brand new, still have the nipples on the face. The governor lopes at high speed, I'll try and adjust the linkage. It needs a pto seal. I'm looking to change the fields in the 6 volt gen...

    8n Funk

Here is a picture of a 47 8N my son bought last month. Lift arms were stuck in the up position (exhaust control valve stuck), Lights aren"t hooked up after the repaint job. Put a carb kit in it and it runs pretty smooth. It came with a dearborn loader but was never put on this tractor. Also...

    DC-4 Clutch

I think it adjusts the same as a model L. There should be an inspection cover on the left side. The throw out bearing rotats but first a spring loaded pin must be pulled out to allow it to turn. Years ago I watched my uncle adjust the old L and the DC MAY be the same. Hope this helps
