    192 BSD332 332T/JF 3 cyl rebuild specs?

Anyone have 192 BSD332 332T/JF 3 cyl rebuild specs? I've searched but info is pretty thin. These engines were used in lots of Ford tractors in the 60 HP range. Thanks

    640 water pump bolts

Water pump bolts in general tend to corrode in to the through holes of the pump due to gasket seapage. This is even worse if the threaded holes in the block are open to water and sealer was not used on the threads. The cracked bolts are more likely to be from corrosion than a over torque ...

3 cyl Ford angled pin bushing install? BSD332/BSD333/332T/JF

The engine is a New Holland 332T/JF in a mid 90's New Holland LX856 skid steer but I've traced the engines past to Ford tractors with a 3 cylinder 156 / 192 / 201 ( this isn't the 4 cyl 174/192 ) The connecting rod bushings are angle cut making for difficult install. The previous owner /...

    Cummins conversion

A front up over the valve cover mounted turbo wuld probably solve the problem. Also have a look at 4btswaps.com , lots of general info there. There is a site http://www.vannattabros.com/index.html that somewhere I think there was a Cummins conversion. ( lots of interesting equopment there...

    power steering pump/ $1000 tractor

That unmodified lid ( and probably pump ) are found on large Ford trucks of the 60's and 70's ( maybe 80's too ) I've also seen it on 60's clark forklifts. Some have a small fill cap pre installed. I'm pretty sure the pump is a Vickers.

    kn filter

You would be better off finding a plastic air box / filter from a car with multi port injection. Someting like a V6 Dodge Spirit / Plymouth Acclaim. These come with a hose fitting that can be adapted to what ever carb you have. In the long run, KN = rock stopper. Not a filter for fine dust.

    NAA Battery not charging. HELP

Gee, aren't we a grumpy old sh.. Pulling the battery wire from a _generator _ system is a age old way of telling if the charging system is working. However it isn't someting to try with a alternator system as it can pop the diodes. Clint, search around for a generator wiring diagram for...

I just bought a bushing from CNH

Yes, parts from a large equipment company can be more expensive than when sourced from the actual manufacturer. However, if the bushing was a money maker A & I or Agparts would have it and maybe at a lower cost. Consider this, on the grand world wide scale of things, the tractor is...

    I 98 motor skidloader

Is it marked VSG-416? ( there was also a VSG-413 and VSG-411 ) These are a " Kent " English Ford motor. They came in early Pintos ( the thin bumper cars only ) Tennant sweepers used them as well. Ford stopped making the 1.6 a while ago but the 1.3 continued on in KA cars but had been...

    Ford 1710 Question

You have a sycromesh transmission ( and likely a live PTO ) . The shifter on the trans is for range, the shifter on the column is ground speed that you can shift while moving.

Ford 1710 : loader and mower at some time?

I've got a Ford 1710 ( 80's ish made by Shibaura ) that has a factory 770B loader and have recently picked up a Ford 915 mower with what looks to be the proper brackets for the 1710. It apears that there will be interference between the rear loader mount ( bolts on at the bell housing ) and...

    O/T: '99 Grand Cherokee distributorless ignition ?

Ignition timing referenced from the crankshaft sensor that is bolted to the bell housing ( usually on the drivers side ) The cam sensor just tells the computer if cyl 1 is on the compression or exhaust stroke. There is a pretty big window of error here ( 5* would be a safe guess ) and the...

    combining two hydraulic pump flows

If both pumps are turning at the same time, all you need to do is connect the outlets. If one pump can be stopped, a check valve at the outlets will be needed to prevent reverse flow. Flow combiners can used to syncronize the return oil from two cylinders. ( and a flow splitter used to sync...
