    573/260 loader hyd valve

    I have a 573 with 250 loader that after 400 hrs the loader valve seizes the spools. The spools have to be driven out. After cleaning and flushing it will work for 3 or 4 hrs. then seize again. any ideas will be appreciated. Should add that I cut open the hyd. filter but found no shavings.

    2-85 power beyond ?

    A power beyond kit was offered by White at one time. It was a simple adapter that was fitted to the remote pressure line at the rear of the hyd. housing. The return was at a lower port in housing that included a defuser. If the kit is no longer available it should be easy to make up out of oarts

    Oil in distributor of A

    The dist. is a Delco. I have not removed the dist and was unaware that coupling area held oil. If drain hole is open could i assume that there must be an oil seal at base of dist. that is leaking?

    800 cyl head

    After replacing cyl. head I found that temp probe would not tighten down. Seems as though the replacement head does not have a seat for the nub on the probe. Has anyone experienced this and if so what is a solution? HELP

    Thanks for the response, I failed to mention that I had indeed checked for any loosenes in both these areas]. There seems to be no noticeable movement anywhere during this "free movement" of the steering wheel.

    I have a 2440 with excess play in steering. All linkages and pivots including tie rod ends are in good shape. During this one half of free steering wheel movement i notice that the steering wheel moves up and down. thanks to anyone that can direct me to the problem.

    Received a mf 1030 with loose front axle assm. I need to remove complete front axle[pfa]. How does the front wheel drive shaft come out? Thanks to anyone that can help.

    friend brought me an 880 with a thunderbolt ign conv. Problem is that wires had been removed. Looks as if one side of coil was grounded but not sure. Also ign. wire does go directly to dist. Anyone had exp. with one of these?

    Visitor, The cross kit is the cross[spider] and the four caps with bearings that make up a complete universal joint.
