    610 resto pics

This message is a reply to an archived post by FredR on July 13, 2016 at 05:09:24. The original subject was Re: 610 resto pics. It's been a long time since I worked on this project, but I still have it and the plan is to continue in the new year. I'm at the paint stage. I'm using Endura paint...

G-IV rad cap, Chrome or not?

Hello ALL. I have a G-IV diesel that is missing the rad cap. If I recall from years ago when I ran this tractor on the farm it had a chrome rad cap on it. Is my memory correct? Either way, If it is chrome or not I am in need of one. Does anybody have a part number or where I could get one...

    Classic CASE design

Undercarrage parts are not that easy to find for the 600/610. My machine has 1200 hrs on it, but the milage from going round and round in the field wore out the undercarriage. more on the left side from making turns to the right all the time. I was able to sorce new rails and rollers and the...

    Classic CASE design

From what I have learned from a CASE collector, who has an 810, a lot of the Ag crawlwers did not sell so the dealers painted them yellow and sold them as construction models. Mine was painted yellow, right over all the decals and everything, but under the paint it is the correct red and sand...

    Classic CASE design

That must have been an increadable load on the front of that crawler with a loader AND the nose counterweight! I didn't know the counter rotation tracks were considered the "terratrac system". The decals that were on the side of the battery boxes on mine have the crest with 610 over it, similar...

    Classic CASE design

There seems to a few 600's kicking around, but the 610 Ag model appears to be elusive. Basicaly the same machine as a 600, but the 610 has the large counterweight on the nose and a different hydraulic system. Also the 610 was painted the Flambeau red and Desert Sand, like the CASE farm tractors...

    Classic CASE design

The 610 is not capable of spinning one track forward and one backward like the 800/810 and 100/1010, but it is a terratrac drive if I'm not mistaken. The steering mechanism is acuated via hydraulics, similar to the other bigger machines. Do you still have your 610? If not, what did you do with...

    Classic CASE design

I have a 610 crawler, Ag model 1958 and it is badged as CASE. I have a 600 construction model, about 25# difference in serial numbers.(parts machine) and it is badged as Terratrac. The decals in the battery box were similar, but the 610 does not say Terratrac on it anywhere. Terramatic drive...

    570 Nearing Competition

Thanks Rod. This 610 I'm restoring is a 1958. So I'm not sure if plated or painted should be used.

    570 Nearing Competition

Looks real good! I'm restoring a 610 Ag Crawler. A question for you, what fasteners did you use for the hood/grill/ fenders? Did you reuse the factory bolts? And if so, what do they look like? Could you snap a picture of them? (sideways would be fine!) My project is missing all of those...

John Deere 2010 AG Gas Very rare

Very interesting. Ii will be following your thread if you decide to build one. I am currently restoring a Case 610 Terramatic Diesel. It too is an Ag model and fairly rare, but not as rare as yours from the looks of things. Take lots of pictures!
