    case vac front pedestal

    Well my new (to me) vac broke at the wheels and it is time to be fixed. Got a parts tractor and have the steering arm off and the four bolts off the pedestal. the trouble is it is not coming off. I looked at my manual but it is not clear this is what you do. Do you tap it with a fence pole? George
