    Ford 101 Plow Shear Pin

Thanks for this information. I will look at that the next time I put the plow on. Needs to dry up some more before I can finish. The front plow probably trips 95% of the time with the third one the rest of the time. The center one never tripped yet. Thanks again to everyone for their comments.

    Ford 101 Plow Shear Pin

Hi, I am using my grandpa’s old Ford plow to work up some field that haven’t been plowed in many years but have been mowed. I am shearing a lot of pins using 5/16” grade 2 bolts. Do I try grade 5 or 8 bolts or am I asking to damage something else? Thanks for your comments. This site has always...

I have tried that number multiple times and left messages. The recording says you have reached Besty Oleson.I have also tried the other number listed 605-520-0059 which is evidently the Machine Shop number and have left multiple messages there. Neither one has replied. I have also sent messages...

I tried 3 of the 5 Dealers listed and got the same response from all “ we no longer deal with them since they never answer phone or return messages “. Steiner 230

Hi All, Is anyone on here familiar with Steiner Lawn Tractors? I picked one up and got it running but it will not move when you push the pedal for forward or reverse. Hay Tedder and 9N

Has anyone pulled a 2 pod Hay Tedder with a 9N? I have a Rhino PT207 and the manual says requires 15HP. Making hay this year has been a challenge. May try next week and want to try using lightest tractors I can to get the job done on the damp fields. Thanks DJ

9N 3 Point Arms not Raising

Had some time this past weekend to play with it. After spraying it up with Kroil and moving it back and forth a couple times with a bar it now moves freely with the lever. I put the oil back in and fired it up. The arms go up and down like they should. What I thought was going to be a major...

9N 3 Point Arms not Raising

I got the spool to move in without too much pressure. Is it supposed to move in and out when moving the lift arm or do I need to put oil back in and run it? Thanks, DJ

9N 3 Point Arms not Raising

I had some time and took off the right side cover and drained the oil. Mine looks just like your photo. Spool is out and not moving. Next move is to try and get it to move. Thanks again for everyone's help. I am sure there are more questions coming.
