    d17 series IV oil pan

    How difficult is it to change the pan gasket in a wide front D17 Series IV? I seem to have a leak in the rear curved part of the pan. From what I can tell it looks like the front axle needs to be removed along with the starter and stearing cylinder.

    Oliver 1755 Wheatland

    I have an oliver 1755 with the wide front end that is set back on the frame closer to the rear wheels. I think this is called the Wheatland front end, but I am not sure. Anybody have info on this? What is the purpose of moving the front axle back on the frame? Thank you.

    I would not paint van sickle i can buy case ih paint at the dealer for $30.00 to $25.00 a gallon..which is close to what that van sickle runs..

    Fram filters

    I work at an autoparts store and we deal with ford,chevy,dodge, dealers and ford dealership out here said that they have replaced 4 motors due to fram filters...they media is breaking up and goin thro the motor...just to let you know it is happening on the new ford powerstrokes...wix is the best...

    it was used to give the valves a coating to help protect them b/c they didn't have harden valves like they do today....does anybody use the additive yes or no??
