    Cut the heater valves on today on the ol 1660 and noticed she started running hot got out and there was coolant pouring out from under the cab. I pulled the access cover off in front of the rotor to try to see up under the cab but still don't see any hoses I can see where it has been leaking...

Was driving her around this morning with the hood off listening to it and it sounded like an exhaust leak so I got a good light and looked the manifold over good turns out right in the middle of the manifold on the inside...

    Oil pressure stays pretty steady even at idle it may drop a little bit but not a whole lot. I thought maybe it could be timing related? I'm not sure how to check it on these old tractors? Do I use a timing light ?

    Hi all, I recently bought a super m it runs and drives really well. However when I'm running it wide open or close and slow it back down it backfires 3 or 4 times usually. I also noticed the carb gets icy right where it bolts to the manifold and the muffler seems to get too hot to me.any...

    Ih 1086 won't move

    Turns out one of the bolts in the back of the TA had broken off and backed out and wedged itself between two gears. Needless to say we are replacing the TA!

    We pulled the range cover off the detent spring was missing. We started it and let off the clutch with the range shift fork in neutral still no change so we pulled cover off of speed trans everything moves freely and looks as it should?? Any ideas?? Thanks!

    I have a 49 farmall m here with the belly pump. I was wondering if there was a way to rig the hydraulics up where I can run a two way cylinder.     I just bought a 49 farmall M. I cannot find a date code on The rear/transmission but the words "new pattern" are cast into it can anyone tell me anything about this? It also has disc brakes but they only have bp66990ar and al cast into them can anyone help? Thanks a bunch
