    Water in differential section

    I need some advice. 1944 JD A. Developed a leak in the rear end. Took the part off that has the PTO shaft through it. Creamy sludge started pouring out. I've drained it from the drain plug. How and what do I do to flush it out to get all that out of it?

    Goid evening 1944 A john deere. I have to replace the radiator. So as to not get the wrong parts, what and where do I need to get it from? Also. Where is the water pump on this tractor? I dont see one. Also, does it have a thermostat?

    Yes. The long shaft comes out of the hood and right before the steering wheel there is a universal joint then this piece.

    See attached picture. The numbers are sort of worn off. Can this be replaced? This is just before the steering wheel. It has a grease fitting but it was already worn out when I got the tractor.

    So at the base of the clutch engaging handle there is a joint. Mine has an awful lot of play at that joint. Is there a bushing that can be gotten for there?
