    Kewanee disc help

That jack looking piece behind the lift cylinder is suppose to be in front of the cylinder and fasten to hitch. That is how you level the disk. The piece to hold disk in transport position is missing and someone put that there in its place or just put it there so it wouldn't get misplaced.

    Cotton Picker Questions

The cotton pickers are built in Ankeny, Iowa. See them leaving the plant all the time going every direction as Ankeny is on the crossroads of interstate 35 and 80.

    Well Duh

Helped a neighbor put a new-used engine in a pickup. When it was time to start it we found the starter was bad. The starter off the old engine was different so we decided to pull it with a tractor. I have a circle drive around the grain bins. We went around there over 10 times stopping to check...

    Sons heritage fair project today

You have a right to be proud of both young men as all of the people on this forum are. I would like to thank Adam Keys for his service and giving so much. Your stepson is very proud of his cousin as he should be. He will do very well in life. That is a feel good story.

    D6 44A7289 transmission help

Forgot to add the floor boards and brake peddles and the rest of the control levers have to be removed. If no oil you might have a lot more problems than the top bearings.

Going back together the shaft that drives the cable unit will take some work to get lined up. I had...

Transport Trailer Inc 1954 Cedar Rapids IA

Do you need hub and drum or just drum. The drum bolts on to hub so if you just need drum might find something that would work. My trailer has 8.25 by 15 inch tires if yours takes a bigger tire hub might not be the same. John

Transport Trailer Inc 1954 Cedar Rapids IA

I will have to see what the number is on my hubs, wouldn't have a clue on the bearings as it was a while ago and at the time I changed all the hubs over to oil type seals.

I have a transport trailer just like yours, same year. I think I got a new hub from Midwest wheel in Des Moines, Iowa. Get the number off the hub and call them. It has been several years since I bought it but worth a try.

How will you secure this tractor?

A clevis on the draw bar with chain pulling back. I chain on the front loader bracket pulling forward and a chain over loader to hold bucket down.
