    4240S

Around 1990 we had a German model. Good tractor, best thing I remember was it had a 540 PTO shaft that turned 1000 RPM. First time I hooked to the 1360 discbine I thought it was going to lift off the ground it was spinning so fast.

    National Milk Day

I've noticed the same thing with the A2 milk.

    Another Whatizit

They were, didn't have the wedges as above poster is talking about. The pins and wedges were for the flanges on the ends of the forms to hold them together. The pins you have were for the straps that held the forms from bulging in the middle and didn't have wedges. At least that's the kind of...

    Another Whatizit

We used them when we formed up headwalls. They went through the steel straps that held forms together. When finished and concrete cured you knocked pins out pulled forms and snapped the straps off.

    Now or next year

We used an old JD 16a flail chopper behind a JD 2520 in the fall to direct chop onto flat wagons. Pulled the wagons out into pasture and let the cows eat it. When cleaned off do it again until you're finished. 1.7 acres won't take long to feed out, did the same thing with corn fodder.

    JD tractor loader

I had one on a 4320 I sold, should work if you get the correct mounting irons for a row crop tractor.

    466 Round baler monitor

Yes, just push manual extend and bump the retract button as you watch the twine on the bale.

    Rain

Same problem in Baltimore County, Md. Pastures are showing dead spots and the lawn crunches when you walk in spots. Garden looks bad and can't water because we're on a well.

    Gummy bears anyone

I remember the TastyCake truck coming in twice a week to drop off out of date or damaged items. Ran them thru the dry cows and dry heifers. Didn't have to take them out of packaging just run them thru the mix wagon. I don't remember feeding them to the cows that we were milking. But everything...

    JD 430 dozer questions

I bought one about 25 years ago, looked good when I got it. Problems started as soon as I got it off the trailer. I was going to show a friend how great it was, that's when the reverser stopped working. Next was left steering clutch, not a big deal. Then I had to get the correct grease gun to...

3020 3 Point Hitch Draft Link Seized

Trying to get the drawbar (AR28570) out of the tube (AR32548). I had it apart about 3 years ago and steamed everything and put never seize on everything and put it together, the right side is fine, but the left side is stuck. I've tried ATF with acetone, penetrating oil, even chained it between...

    Welcome to the crib...

We had Unico's like the one on the right. Still remember shoveling as fast as we could until the manifold on the M glowing red as it was getting dark. Couldn't do that with the 630 hooked to the grinder mixer, it would lug down and chock up.

I usually check in the AM over my first cup of coffee, can't remember but I think I started around 99 or 2000.
