    I was hoping not to buy a new flywheel. The cracks are only where the clutch rode on the flywheel. The pressure plate had the same type of cracks.

    I am replacing the clutch and noticed the flywheel has small cracks in the surface. Looks like brake rotors that got hot. It is original and not sure if worth resurfacing or replace? Have a pic but not sure how to post.

    38" rim replacement

    I have a 1965 4000 and one of the rims are about rusted through around the valve stem and you can move it. I am having trouble finding a new rim. The tire on it now is a 13.6-38 and wanting to try and use it. Any suggestions on where to find a new rim?

    4000 PS reservoir leak

    I have a 65' 3 cyl. 4000 with the PS reservoir seperate from the pump up behind the battery. It has a slow leak from the bottom somewhere around the spot welded mounting bracket and wondering if there is a way to fix or buy a new one or options? Thanks

    JD317 with Onan 18hp not charging and dying

    The voltage with all hooked up is 14.4 vdc on the battery. I have checked for any shorting or worn wires and cannot find any. When the blades are engaged the engine will backfire run rough then eventually die or I shut it off as it runs really rough and thought it would hurt the engine. Thanks...

    yes it looks like the picture and I am getting about 35 volts out of the two black wires.

    There are 2 black ones that are connecting to the AC and a White/Red stripe wire to the middle plug.

    I have a JD317 that had the Kohler replaced with the Onan 18HP and since I have owned it 1 of the AC wires has been disconnected. When I connect the wire the engine dies within 2 minutes. My battery never stays charged. I bought a new VR and same problem. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
