    Those drives are a nitemare. I bought a couple and tried to make one out of three-no luck.I bought a new one from Ohda"s.I don"t know if Rob has any more.His # 815-379-2377.You may need a reverser drive.I think you can get one from Stewart-Warner.Rob has the info you need.

    5-Star 3pt.Hitch

    I'm looking for the latch that allows you to extened the 3pt arm.Mine needs one that has just one spring on the top of the arm.I also need the pin that connects the lift arm to the 3pt.arm.I'm trying to keep it close to orginal as I can.Welters and Ohda's did'nt have these parts.Thank You Jeff

    M steering

    We have a 1950 M at work that we move nurse tanks with.It does'nt have power steering but the tractor seems to steer very hard.I have a 1941 M at home and it steers much easier.Is there some adjustment in the gear box? The steering shaft is free.Thanks Jeff

    1947 RTU Fan Hub

    Thanks for the info TRK.I was concerned that the oil in the hub would make a mess,the brass bushing being porous makes sense.I'll call and see if Ohda has one in Walnut and compare it to a new one.

    We did simular what you're thinking back in 1982.We took m-5 blocks bored out to 4 7-8 used a G crank M-5 rods sized them to G crank and used 401 GM piston shaved them flat and used base block gaskets to get right compression we needed.I think we had 7 gaskets.Ran 10A4232 heads on propane and...

    RTU stuck in 4th gear

    Thanks for the info on the shift rails I'll check out the springs and detent balls and fork alignment. We took it apart tonite and found out the pto shift forks rollpin sheared and the fork slid off the shaft and was wedged against the side of housing and would not let 4th gear back to neutral...

    RTU stuck in 4th gear

    We bought this R about 2 months ago and decided to restore it.I just got it together and wanted to take it down the road.I put it in 4th gear it went in smooth but now its stuck.I hope I don't have to take off the top cover with all the new paint!!!! Any idea's ?? Thanks Jeff
