    720 Loader ????

    friend of mine had the same problem. hadnt taken the loader off for years and his pins were stuck. he ended up torching em off so he could get at em to work on em. would try a penetrate couple times a day for several days, especially if you are useing it. good luck!

    hugh: never said a 666 was a bad tractor. said it was a glorified m. many others will agree with me here that the 666 evolved from the h/m beginings. sure they made several excellent improvements but was only improvements, not a totally new design.

    4000 Hydraulic Valve Problem

    if a pressure guage drops, its in the valve. eliminates a bad cylinder. unless u were hooked in line with the cylinder hooked up, which i doubt.

    a 666 is a glorified m. take that 7500 and buy a decent 1066. way more dependable and cheaper to work on.

    Little O/T Low hour 4440.

    dieseldoc... last time i checked every original paint job the hubs are yellow on the rim side, but then maybe i'm color blind. food for thought.

    4000 Hydraulic Valve Problem

    open the valve back up and look closer. will be a nick in a return poppet valve or a speck of metal embedded in it. rarely the valve housings crack internally but your valve simply need to be rebuilt. best done by someone who knows how to do them properly.

    John Deere 7020 general question

    Ertl didn't goof up. 7020's had an intercooled 404. same engine as a 4630. 7520's had the 531 like in a 6030.

    AC 7040 pump timing

    wondering what fuel injection pump timing is supposed to be on a AC 7040. Any expiriences with better starting would be helpful too. thanks. 605-670-6404
