    yes, it just seems like the float isn"t filling like it should, once it goes empty it dies and after a while of filling it will run again for a short while, not sure if that is what is really happening but that is what it seems like

    the posotive post on my 1967 oliver 1650 gas coil bust off yesterday, went to Tractor Supply and grabbed a 12 volt coil as it is a 12 volt system but when i took the old one off the tractor i saw it was only a 6 volt coil.
