    I have a 1750 gas that simply stopped running . It acts like it is running out of gas. It starts and runs fine for about 30 seconds and the stops. I let it sit a few minutes and it does the same thing. Carb was just redone a few hours ago,. Could it be the fuel pump? Gas runs out the sediment...

    I have both and think the 1650 is very reliable and hard to beat! I have several 1650 gas models and they are very trusty workhorses.

    Can anyone help me with any brg or seal numbers on a 1550? The casting number on the hub is 155193A on the front hub. I cant find any numbers on the brg and races. They were all pretty well destroyed. Any help would be appreciated.

    I would be almost sure it is the diaprahm. I have a 1750 with the same carb usx 44 and that ran terrible, black smoke etc. but would run so-so at full throttle but like crap at slower speeds.     S88 running problem

    Sounds like something in the tank. Try to look in there one time I found a piece of a small stick (must have been measuring the gas) one time a oat hull, one time a fly. you'll probably will end up taking the tank off. GOOD LUCK!
