    John Deere 4010 hydraulics

    I don't have a 4010 yet, that is one of the tractors I am looking at. My 7000 is a six row and has a cyliner at each wheel as well as the marker arm. My Ford 981 with 4 gpm will raise the planter but doesn't have enough left to raise the marker arm. So, I was wonering if a 4010 would raise it...

    What kind of hydraulic pressure and flow rate does a John Deere 4010 have. I have a John Deere 7000 conservation planter and I am looking for a tractor with enough hydraulics to raise the planter and the marker arm.

    Yeah, I know the disconnect as not come disconnected I have been having trouble with it and I have found metal shavings in the transmission fluid.

    I have a 981 SOS that the tractor won"t move anymore. If I want to change it over to a 5 speed do I need to replace the rear end as well? If not what do I need to change?

    Ford 801 Select-O-Speed

    That is the ground speed pto lever. The 540/1000 lever is under and forward of the foot rest on the left hand side of the tractor. Our 881 has both of these. You can also look at the plate at the end of the starter and it will have the model and S/N stamped into it.

    Anyone have an idea of what a Dearborn 14-15 sickle mower is worth? It is in good shape and still cuts but no paint. What color should it be if I decide to paint it and try to sell it?

    Anyone have an old New Holland 469 haybine for parts? I need the main drive gear from the gearbox. Can't get one from CNH and the junkyards around here don't have one either. Thank you.
