    Super H

    This H is at the Antique Engine and Tractor Association show in Geneseo,Illinois this weekend. Not sure if you call it a Super H or a Honda Farmall. IH is the feature tractor this year and there is a great turnout of tractors.

    It probally had the rearend replaced. They stopped using outboard brakes in 1950 or 51 and didnt build the 6 cylinder diesel till 52.

    G Crank

    You can use Detroite 4-71 rods and international v-605 pistons then you dont have to grind the crank. Lot less expensive than custom piston and regrinding the crank not as many cubes but a lot cheaper.

    crankcases are exactly the same hieght!!! rods are different length between a 283 and 336 gas. God I love misinformation.

    There are some parts available stuff from agco is very pricey.

    MM Motors

    Starter will not work if you swap flywheels. You need a power unit flywheel from an early 336 power unit a radiator adapter from a ub diesel and the steering shaft from a ub diesel they will accomadate the later style water pump. I have all this stuff if you need it.

    The three speed in a G1050 is direct low and extra low. The extra low side is a mechanical sprague unit while the intermediate and direct are hydraulic clutch packs so there function is not affected by low being out. The power steering and the hydraulics are seperate systems probally a bad...

    Help With UB Designations

    There were no UB diesels in 53 they are all 54 and newer. The UB diesel uses the same ring gear as a G gas. The 54 and newer UB will take a G engine without opening up the bell housing the 53 will not you have to grind out the housing to get a G ring gear in it.

    You have to loosen the big nut in the center of the lines and bleed fuel out there. You can crank it forever and it will not run until you bleed it there.

    Lp gas vs racing fuel

    Sounds like a poor conversion and bad tuning. A proper lp set up on a MM with good equipment (impco or century) will start and run on the coldest day or hottest. I bought a lp vista in nebraska picked it up after sitting for two weeks on a negative 2 degree day started on the second turn and...

    A GVI in 5500 have seen three or 4 one without aluminum rear wheels and yes it had the original GVI rear end.

    Yes with the right rods.

    Wrist pins are the same on Gas the U rods are 2.5775 and the G is 2.75
