    Tires prices

Well, here in GA they don't offer that program anymore....they stopped it about 5 years ago. Anyone know of a Farm Bureau organization in TN, NC, SC that offers that service? I know folks in all states and would pay them to join if I could get tractor tires cheaper!!

    '58 841 rear brake diagram

Wondering if any of you gents might have a diagram of the rear brake assembly for the 801 series. My husband's tractor is new to us and leaking around the rear axle, I want to see what we need to order to refurb it. Thanks so much!!

    841 PTO Leaking

My hubby bought a 1958 (assumed from the numbers) and the guy who owned it say he was tractor dumb and said it had no leaks...well, it also had zero fluid in the tractor....filled all the wells and now we see that the PTO has a consistent leak.....we havne't had the time to buy a manual and...

    801 Powermaster - 841 Diesel

I saw that decal package too, I assume maybe in its past that the hood/fender might have been replaced if that is incorrect! I at least know it's probably a 1958 b/c of date codes on the trany and diff....year end is 8. So we'll see, guess I could load some photos.....

    801 Powermaster - 841 Diesel

Thanks Hal! We going to leave the diesel the way it is as far as a vertical exhaust pipe, we'll just put one on it that looks more like the orginal. My personal concern was that the air cleaner assembly looked like it belonged on my JD MT, it's the same exact housing.....seemed like something...

    801 Powermaster - 841 Diesel

Never mind about the 134, just re-read the posts and realized what it was.....it's a universal TRANS fluid, correct? Is the gear oil 80w90 what would be suggested for the gear oil?

    801 Powermaster - 841 Diesel

My husband recently purchased a Powermaster 801 series tractor....it is a 4 speed, diesel and from checking out the numbers, it seems to be a 1958. Painted over decals show Powermaster 801, but am sure from doing my research it's an 841. Couple of questions..... 1) Do all diesels have a...

Actual Wheel and Tire Size for MT

Have a 1952 MT in need of new tires. Original stats state that an MT had a rear tire size of 9-34, the tractor has 11.2-34's on it now. On the tire it says "if on a 10" rim, is a 10-34". My question is what size tires will actually fit on this tractor and where can I find some in Georgia for...

    Re-wiring question for John T

Thanks John T. you are a true Godsend to those of us (girlz!!) that need an extra hand to restore their new toys. I was right though on the fact that since their is not a wire running from the switch to the ammeter gauge that's why it doesn't show a charge, right? Possibly? Won't know till I...

    Re-wiring question for John T

You've been working with me on a ammeter gauge problem on my 52 MT. Well, in all my haste I realized that the wire that runs from the gauge to the switch is missing (the orginal one that had a inline fuse, no longer there), so that might answer why I was getting no reading on my gauge when the...

NEEDING A LOT OF HELP ON 1952 MT!! JOHN T/CLOONEY/SITE GURU

Okay, John T., the wire that on the wiring setup is connected to the amm gauge and connects to the switch is missing, (it originally had the in line fuse), it is no longer there. I guess frustration got the better of me and I didn't catch that. I want to rewire the whole tractor after it is...
