    John Deere H Governor

    There are no oil lines. It will just lift off. There are two dowel pins so the housing will have to come straight up to clear them.

    The H should not have the circle "H" on the grill. The "H" indentifier is the decal on the channel that the seat is mounted to and of course the serial number tag. I can't help you with a picture of the throttle springs. I know that mine are not correct.

    I couldn't find the answer to this question when I installed mine. I used the head gasket instructions (smooth side towards the block) and followed suit with the smooth side toward the head. I don't know if that reasoning is right but mine doesn't leak.

    This is a picture I found in the JD 365 day calender. It shows one way to mount duals. With a harrow front tractor I would mount the outer rims the other way and put the hubs closer together to reduce the distance between the tires and reduce the overall width of the tractor. Sorry about the...

    I did as Pat said but had to go one step farther to get them to slide on and off. I applied yellow paint (or anything you have in a spray can)on the axles and slid the hub on with the paint still wet until it stopped then gave it a rap with a piece of wood. Then pulled it off and I could see...
