    1010 rockshaft seals

I wanted to try replacing them on the tractor, but I doubt it'd work given the crud in there. Especially the left side, where the seal is pretty deep. I don't know if I have something to drive it ("thin-wall pipe" that big). But then I couldnd't get the lift arms off, anyway. I pulled the...

    1010 rockshaft seals

Can't edit, so new post ... ... and now I "get" why the left seal is so much bigger than the right one.

    1010 rockshaft seals

Thank you, that's what I needed. And thanks again for the pump &etc. (I know it all works because it started leaking like crazy. ;)

    1010 rockshaft seals

Mine is earlier. And I don't have a service manual anyway. That's why I'm asking how the rockshaft is supposed to come out -- I want to at least clean it up right.

    1010 rockshaft seals

I have an oil leak at the rockshaft (been sitting in the weather forever). The bushings seem fine. This is a goofy rockshaft (industrial) with two cylinders but just one control (quadrant). I have the rockshaft housing off the tractor, removed the control arms, and loosened the rear housing...

    adding remotes to a 1010

Thanks. These spools must have pressure relief because it was the same issue on the loader. (It was a JD loader.) They are four-way, three position, center-return spools -- I don't think there's a float. Everything is open center. To simplify the plumbing, I'll re-route the pump output line...

Looks like I can't PM you, so here goes. [email protected] Thanks.

    adding remotes to a 1010

First off, I don't really know what I'm talking about here. I'm just reading the Army Hydraulics Field Manual (FM 5-499). Also apologies, because hydraulics questions always get into complicated arguments. I have two control valves left over from a loader, which were used with a front-mounted...

    1010W rockshaft seal

    1010W rockshaft seal

I might as well just fess up: I have a 1010W. I'm finally getting the hydraulics to work. So that means chasing a bunch of leaks. Right now, I'm dealing with the rockshaft seals. I bought AM3432T seals, which looks right for the right side. But this funny rockshaft takes a larger seal on...

    1010 upper link length

Sorry for the confusion. Maybe soon my Parade Queen can earn some keep plowing snow.

    1010 upper link length

Of course. The two that are readily available (generic, sitting on the shelf, right down in town) have a "minimum length 21 or 24 inches". They adjust longer than that. I'm just trying to figure out the best one to get. My 1010 didn't come to me with the 3-pt hitch. I'm rounding all of that up...

    1010 upper link length

I have a choice of top links: minimum length 21" or 24". What would you pick? (Either one is just $40.) My lift arms are about 30" long. For the foreseeable future, I'm just lifting a scraper blade. Continued thanks.

    1010 upper link length

It's actually a 1010W. (I hate to say that out loud.) I got lift arms from an RU, which had the same trunnion pins and lower frame. So I bet a utility would be the same as mine. Thanks!
