    If it were me, I would get this: Lisle 75500 Combustion Leak Detector. I think you are getting combustion gases injected into the coolant.

    Mine mounted on 3 studs with I think 11/16 fine thread nuts. I can verify the hex nut size tomorrow.

    governor bushing

    I would thread it and with a bolt, flat washer and pipe nipple pull it out by tightening the bolt. Don't damage or loose the thrust washer under the bushing. It may come out with the bushing in place, but I can't remember. Good luck.
