    I recently read on a blog that in changing an 8n front seal it said remove nut washer and front bearing then put nut on and yank to remove seal.i did that and ruined the inner bearing it seperated the inner bearing in 3 pieces . I.e. It knocked it apart.beware.

    Have 47 early 8n, read about how to change points, am I right in saying you set point gap at 015 and that is step one , then you use a steel Ruler to set the timing?. This part ils a little tricky it reads like. But do you always need to reset the timing after changing points.?
