Farmall F20 and Farmall H axle size the same?

I happen to stumble upon a Farmall F20 thats ready for the scrap heap. I am wondering if the steel wheels from it will fit on a farmall H? I want to put the wheels off this F20 on my 1944 H.

    noisy transmission

One persons definition of loud isnt always the same as anothers. My Farmall A was what I would consider loud. I also noticed that when I hit the clutch in it took a while for gears to stop spinning so I could drop it in gear. After I drained the oil and put in 85W140, it was much much more...

Cub Cadet 7264 Compact very lazy hydrostatic

Not that anyone responds to this but.... I did get it figured out. It did have the wrong fluid in it. And the pedal needed adjustment. I also purged the air out of the system. All is well now.

Cub Cadet 7264 Compact very lazy hydrostatic

Good morning all, I recently picked up a 2004 Cub Cadet 7264 compact tractor. It has a bucket loader on the front and a backhoe on the back. Its in good shape, runs good and the hydraulics for the implements work fine. The only issue is the hydrostatic is very lazy. Most of the pedal doesnt...

    John Deere B question

So then I would ask what classes he wants to pull. With stone boat your always going to be in first. Completely different animal than transfer sled. In my club a B would hold its own up to 5500 stone boat pulls. Late styled B will do 6500. Thats a long chain stone boat. So his club specifics...

    John Deere B question

The only reason to build up a low gear tractors motor like a JD B for dead weight pulling is to get into classes you have no business in. Like 8000lbs class. Thats when people break things pulling stone boats weighing 16,000 lbs.

    John Deere B question

Assuming its a 6 speed B, it will pull stone boat just fine in stock form. Not a whole lot of reason to do motor work for dead weight pulling as 1st gear is painfully slow and theres no reason to pull stone boat in any gear but 1st.

    Farmall Super H

What classes are you trying to compete in? Assuming transfer sled, if you are actually competing in "stock" classes you'll be heavily outgunned by M's in 4500. You would be much better off with a 1939/40 H in 3500lbs class. An H can dominate 3500. You can get that SH down to 3500 but its...

    Super C running a snowblower?

A low gear H might be able to do it cause of how slow it is. But a C would never do it. Even with a low gear H you would want to go out every 6".

    Old is NEW again!

Because the Ecoboost design is nowhere near durable enough to withstand the work load of a HD truck. The numbers are impressive yes, but its only intended for a truck that is worked hard infrequently. In fact of all the ecoboost trucks I see I rarely see one towing anything. A true HD gas...

    Pressed steel on Super M

I appreciate the offer but thats quite a haul for me being in Connecticut.

    Pressed steel on Super M

In 5500 lbs class I have no movable weight. Also I see guys with M's that have pressed steel wheels they can narrow up the tractor more and fit on a low trailer. I want to sell my deck over and go with a lower trailer but right now theres no way my Super M will fit between fenders. So theres two...

    Pressed steel on Super M

Hi. I am looking to ditch my rear cast and go with pressed steel and hubs on my 1953 Farmall Super M. Any pointers on a source for that? I slightly recall that pressed steel and 9 bolt hubs off another tractor fits but I dont remember what make/model that is from. Thanks

    Tractor Hauler - 4L60E Rebuild w/ upgrades?

They are half a$$ing the job. And if your truck is indeed a 2000 2500 with the 6.0 v8 then it has a 4L80E.
