    Does anybody have a suggestions on where I can get a complete 12 volt wiring harness for my 1944 M. It is already converted but very sloppy, When I finish on the restore I want a new wiring harness. thanks

    I agree with rust collector, yet sometimes the shaft wont spin out of the gearbox by hand, So if thats the case you can grab ahold of the front wheels and turn them to the left and the shaft should pop right out

    Sheetmetal Question

    Is there a difference between the front grille/cowl, and the hood from an H to an M. Meaning can I swap out a good hood and cowling from an H to my M without it taking away any qualities? such as grille fins or size. etc..

    Oil filter question

    Do they make a spin on oil filter conversion for a 1944 M model. I"ve seen them on an H and would like one for my M. If so, Where could I get one?

    CUB WILL NOT START

    Forgot to mention. once you are 100% sure that you have everything in order. Try pull starting it. Sometimes if the engine hasnt been run in sometime. the starter wont turn it fast enough to get her going. good luck

    CUB WILL NOT START

    I had this very similar problem with my M recently. It was 180 degrees out of time, And I also had a stuck valve. Just triple check your timing. and worse case pull the valve cover off and have someone turn the motor over and make sure all the valve are moving properly.

    Farmall H manifold pipe thread

    It is standard NPT 2" thread. Depending on where you ordered it from they usually send you the pipe with it. I Just replaced the manifold on my "M" and they shipped me the pipe with the manifold.

    Farmall M Update

    Thanks everyone, I found the problem today. I had a stuck valve on the #3 cylinder. and found some sludge on top of the head. So I went ahead and flushed the motor with K1. and some marvels. New oil and filter and she"s purrin like a kitten. thanks again everyone!
