    Ford with simms pump

    This Ford 2000 was left sitting for a few years and neighbor started it and it ran wide open. Is there an easy fix without taking the pump off. Tractor belongs to an old widow woman, just trying to help her out so she can sell it. Thanks

    IH 1086, the fuel will leak off if it sets a couple days making it hard to start. What do I need to do to fix it. Thanks.

    I don't think it matters how much fuel is in the tank, it's full now. The only way I can start it is to put shot of ether in and open throttle wide open. Usually about the time you think it's not going to start it will fire up, it runs great. If I start it every day it does ok.

    My tractor has a single pump and the loader is a Massey Ferguson.

    I recently put a loader on DB 1212, the loader is strong but extremely slow. Is there any way to speed it up. The filters are clean and oil is new. I took loader off of a DB 995, it was slow on that tractor, but it is even slower on the 1212. Any help would be appreciated.

    Are you sure you are getting enough fuel to the carb, sounds to me like you're not getting enough gas to the carb.
