    Replace JD 970 seat mechanism

    Has anyone replaced the seat mechanism on a JD 970 tractor? Just bought the tractor and seems like the frame is worn out. Cannot tighten to make seat have suspension. Never seen one made like this. JD wants $1000 for a new one. Any ideas?

    Hi all. I need some advice on some rear wheel weights for a 2022 5045 tractor. Will the old weights, like off a 4020, fit this? Will generic or newer models fit? Just don’t want to pay new JD prices. Ballast will cost me about a $1000. Hoping to find something cheaper. Thanks in advance!

    2840 tachometer cable

    I’ve installed a new tach and cable and the cable seems short. It is the correct length. I think my problem is how far to thread the engine end into the housing. Threads are about an inch long and there’s not a definite stop on it. Anybody familiar with this on how far I need to screw it into...
