    Mahindra Tractors

I have had John Deere's my entire life but bought a Mahindra last spring. 50hp with FEL. I used it to load manure, cut and bale with a jd baler w/thrower. converted a western plow blade and plowed snow all winter. About 300 hrs on it now and not a problem at all. Has cab, heat and air. Cab might...

value of a series 10 winch and log arch

Guy saw my winch on my 1010 crawler and offered me $800.00 for the winch and log arch. Winch works and has 150 ft of 1/2 inch cable. Cable is in good shape, not frayed. I am wondering if this is a fair price. I don't use it but left it on for weight. Thanks for your advise.

John Deere1010 rs gas - will not run

My 1010 gas crawler did the exact same thing when I bought it. It had been sitting a couple years. It was dirt in the tank. Take the tank right off the tractor and clean it good. I steam cleaned mine and haven"t had a problem since, that was 4 years ago.

    Mahindra Tractors

I purchased a 50 hp one new this spring. Cab, heat/ac radio 4 wd and loader. Am very happy with it. Have about 150 hours on it. Cut hay with a jd 1209, baled with a jd 336 with thrower. It handled every thing with no problem. Did about 3000 bales. Loader works great, as good as my Jd 5055...

    4310 JD and baler?

Few years ago I used a 4310 to bale one load of hay when my bigger tractor had a minor problem that needed repair but rain was coming. I used a JD 24T baler and pulled a wagon. No thrower on baler, hand loading the wagon. Bales were about 45 lb bales on fairly level ground. It handled ok but was...

Mahindra tractor reviews, anyone have one?

Have been a John Deere guy my entire life but am seriously looking at a Mahindra in the 50 to 60hp range. I know they aren't made here but neither were my last 2 Deere. Wondering what you guys that have one think of them after using them. Thanks.

    Foton tractor, worth looking at?

Thanks for the reply. I did run over to the dealer this afternoon and looked at it. It is still there. For low hours, 400, it was pretty beat. Didn't think much of the tractor myself, might be ok for a weekend farmer but don't think it would stand up to heavy use. Guess I will stick with my Deere's.

    Foton tractor, worth looking at?

Local JD dealer has a Foton 704 with a loader on the lot. Tractor has a cab and 4 wheel drive. I am thinking of looking at it to use with a 9ft haybine and small square baler, load manure, and plow snow. I currently don't have a tractor with cab or 4 wheel drive. Just wondering if anyone...

    John Deere 4040 crawler

Looks like it might be a 440. Dont think it's up in the 10 series.

    1010 crawler

It's not that bad of a job if you have the right tools. Air wrench, bigger sockets and wrenches. I used a tranny jack to hold and move the final drive on mine. Might just as well change the bearings, brake pad and throw out bearing, and seals when your in there, then make sure you adjust it...

    John Deere 42 in oats

Doesn't work the tractor at all. He could pull it with his 3010 but he likes the radio on the 4010. The scour clean works great really makes for clean oats. Thanks
