    9n no spark

    This tractor is now on 12v. I have fire at the points, but nothing on the plugs. Does having fire at the points mean the coil is good or can only the junction that goes to the cap be bad? I dont see any cracks in the cap. Thanks

    Aparently I dont have everything that it takes to hook this thig up, and I dont have an idea how the bottom brackets fit into this. It looks to me like the center lind and the bottom brackets would make it kinda fixed with the lift arms playing no part. Maybe I cant see the woods for the trees...

    165 hydrolic

    I drained a bunch of water from this thing and was going to flush it out and change the filter..Its sad,, the bottom half of the filter is gone..not there. I found what looks like a brass bushing or color in the bottom. along with lots of small pieces. Am I off to the junkyard?

    165 lifts

    Me again, I got about the same problem as Tom Miller,must be a Miller thing. I dumped LOTS of warter from my 165 today. Found the filter,hope to get it cleaned this weekend. Is there anything else I need to look at before trying new fluid? Also what type and how much hydralic do I need? Thanks...

    165 lifts not working

    Thanks David, This thing is a real basket case that my Dad used to pull a sawmill with. I dont have a book on this thing yet, but I dont think a book would point out things like you have. It runs great, if I can get past the lifts the rest if just basic hard work. I think/hope. Thanks a bunch.

    raking gears bad on 851

    I recently put a doner engine in a 851,which I knew nothing about. I didnt fool with the cluth adjustment,or replace the clutch. Most of the time its had to get into gear or pto. Once you get it in gear it is no trouble to shift, its just that first time going from nutrel. Cluth travle seems...
