    IH 733 rear axle

    I am looking for a rear axle for an IH 733 part # 3137358R31. It's an early 80's German built tractor. Not available new from IH and haven't had any luck in salvage yards. Not many if any others in the US I imagine. Anybody have any ideas?

    Taking radiator off Farmall H

    There is a cap on the front of the steering gear box that threads out, once the cap is removed the steering shaft will thread out of the housing. Ronald

    Are all hyd. pumps created equal??

    When I bought one several years ago for an H the difference was gallons per minute. Can't remember what the specs were but there were 2 or 3 hundred dollars between the slower one and the faster one. Ronald

    Converting to live hydraulics

    I drilled and tapped the lower drain plug in the belly pump out to 3/4 inch pipe for the suction side of the pump and used 1/2 inch on the pressure side. I just brazed fittings on the metal tube to use the hose size that I needed. Ronald

    4600 gas hard to start when warm

    Trying to help a friend with a 4600 gas with a holley carb. It starts fine when it's cold, and runs fine until you shut if off. When it's warm you have to give it a little shot of starting fluid to get it started, then it runs fine until you shut it off. Thanks Ronald

    Ford loader

    I'm looking at a loader that came off of a 1710, possibly a 770 from a picture I saw online. It is a quick disconnect loader. Looking a adapting it to another tractor. Just wondering what the lift capacity would be. Thanks Ronald

    Looking at a gas 574 with a 1850 loader. Just wondering how hard they are on fuel for loader work, basically piddling around. And any other opinions anybody has that they want to share. Thanks Ronald

    IH 37 baler

    I have a 37 baler and use it for alot of my second cutting. When I got it it didn"t tie at all but with some work I can bale 100 bales and it will miss 2 or 3 bales. If given the choice I would take a new holland baler, but the 37 bales what I need for now. I gave 500 for mine about 12 years...

    anywhere from 2500-4500 from what I've found looking. Even a few cheaper than that but they were to far for me. Fastline.com is a good place to look

    What Is The Reason?

    I took the pump out of my H and stripped everything out of the inside of the tank(Shaft gears and case). But you'll have to plug the hole in the case where the shaft comes through.     I just pulled a McCormick corn binder from the woods. The wood is pretty much all gone but the rest looks pretty complete. I tried uploading a picture to the implement site, but was taking forever so I'll try again later. The only Marking I can find is on the rear there is a vertical tube...
