    Adding a joystick to a 727 loader

I have a 4000 with a 727 loader on the front running off the 2 spool under the seat. I'd like to add a joystick to the loader and keep the 2 spool under the seat for rear outputs if possible. My question is if this can work do I need an open center joystick for this setup? I don't know a...

    Wheel/Tire options for a 1969 Ford 4000

Right now I have cast centers and spinout rims. The rims are shot and need replaced as well as the tires. Is there another type of rim I can get to replace the spinout setup?

    Ford 3550 knocking?

I have a 69 4000 3cly diesel and a 98 4630 with essentially the same 3cly diesel. Both are loud but my 69 rattles a lot more. There are more webs cast into the outside of the block on the 98 that are supposed to quiet it down some. I rebuilt the 69 because it was tired and had a lot of blow...

    JD wheels on a 69 4000?

I'd paint them before I ever put them on. Do I need to have a spacer made to fill that gap between my 5.5 center and the 6" center?

    JD wheels on a 69 4000?

My rear wheels are shot and so are my tires. I found a set of 18.4-30s on JD wheels with 8 on 8 BP and 6" center hole. My wheels are 8x8 with 5.5" center hole. Will the JD wheels fit with a larger center hole?

    Splitting a 4000 with a loader attached

The clutch doesn't slip in any gear high or low range. I just can't get it into gear when it's running. It grinds like the transmission isn't slowing down.

    Splitting a 4000 with a loader attached

No I have some left but the pedal has an inch of free travel like the manual says. The tractor is a 69 4000 diesel with a i9-449 loader

    Splitting a 4000 with a loader attached

My tractor had got worse about shifting into gears while running. I have adjusted the clutch according to the manual and very little travel is needed to disengage the clutch. I'm thinking it's time to replace it and don't want to remove the loader. Can this be done while it's attached?

    Ford 4000 single acting adjustment

Not that I've noticed. From looking at pictures it looks like mine is already backed out. Thanks for the info.

    Ford 4000 single acting adjustment

On my tractor below the seat I have two levers I m using to control my loader. My loader has no down pressure. My valve says to screw the adjuster all the way out for single acting. Will this give it more pressure to the loader or should it just stay in?
