    Farmall M 248

Hey guys, new member here again, thanks for being patient with us new guys asking these questions. On my C248 with 4" bore and IH 4009 Z pistons, I measured .100/.102 on top piston grove, all I found so far is new ring sets come with 3/32 or .093/.094 rings, would that much clearance cause...

    M C248 sleeves

I thought the same thing when I looked at their website and it showed kits for flat and stepped head pistons. I probably never put it in my cart just called them to ask about sleeve O.D. and wrist pin size since I have the odd ball 1" wrist pins.

    M C248 sleeves

    Super mta head bolts

Thanks for that post D Slater, you answered my question on where the 2 washers went. Can I ask what manual you have that showed the torque specs? Also do 2 head studs stick up a little higher for the governor bracket?

    Farmall M rebuild

Hi guys, new member here. I'm rebuilding a 1944 Farmall M, C 248 engine with 4" sleeves. I'm looking at sleeve/piston kits, (are any made in usa, whats good)? Can I replace my flat top pistons with stepped head? (read that I need to change distributor drive to reduce advance), where can I...
