Would love to see a follow up.

Ferguson 30 will not stay running

Sounds to me like you are taking coil power from the starter side of the exposed start switch (solenoid). Back side is hot all the time, while the front is hot only when shift lever is in start position.

    +TO30 3pt

Have you had it working before? Is it possibly a broken riser tube?(1/2 steel tube between bottom casting and top cover)

    TE-20 Lift Control Fork

I'm not sure this helps, but could your quadrant handle and fork be out of alignment. It has been a few years since I've been inside mine, but your pictures are not helping me visualize the solution. If it works by manipulating the control valve, it stands to reason it is a linkage problem...

    Alternator exciter

I haven't looked, but isn't that where the button is wired in at present?

    Alternator exciter

I am now using an exciter button on the alternator. If I replace it with a 3 watt bulb on the same wire will that work along with the jumper wire fron #2 to main charging post.

    Oil pump kit

Has anyone used a rebuild kit that they can either recommend (or not) for TO30 oil pump.

    No oil pressure.

Thank you Charles. Anyone know if this is true on TO30s? I've heard of there being some adjustment, but thought it was inside the engine.

    No oil pressure.

Jim, that is what I needed to hear. Thank you. Can I assume up there will be a flow of oil rather than a spurt hitting the ceiling. I guess I shouldn't n e too picky.

    No oil pressure.

Sorry, Brown David. That was me asking if there is a way to tell if oil is circulating without having a pressure gauge?

    No oil pressure.

The tractor is a work in progress. It's a ferguson to30, and I just put a new gauge on. Didn't have one before. The ret of the answers I don't have.

    No oil pressure.

Is there a sequence of things I should look for. There are no visible leaks when running or after being parked. Oil spurts out of block at gauge fitting. New.tube and gauge. Gauge responds to air pressure. Any help or ideas would be appreciated. Over my head when inside the engine.

    How bad is this?

I will second the Bundy Bear videos. Used them for hydraulics repair and they made what seemed hard, doable.
