latest addition 4000 r/c
Just got this 4000 row crop home. That makes 4 of these row crops so far. 501 offset, 701 wide front diesel, 901 wide front diesel and now this 4000 wide front diesel. Love these old Ford row crops. -

901 brakes
I posted a week or so ago about removing the anchor pins to replace my brake shoes. All of your help is greatly appreciated. Was able to get the pins out tonight after applying some heat. On a side note, if any of you guys believe in the power of prayer, could you say one for my parents. Daddy... -

901 brakes
Trying to put new brakes on my 901. Having trouble getting the brake shoe anchor pins out so that I can remove the old shoes. Clips came off with no trouble. Any suggestions? Thanks guys. -

My row crops
Brad_bb, That is how it looked when I got it. That is a piece of pvc electrical conduit with a spray paint can lid as a cap. Don't quite understand why, but I have the correct oil bath breather to go on it now. -

Just wanted to post some before pics of my little collection of row crops. Have a 501, 701 diesel, and a 901 diesel. Not much to look at now but soon to be better. Have started restoring the 901 already. May have questions along the way. I enjoy all the comments and have already learned alot... -

Differences on a 741 and a 941

Differences on a 741 and a 941
I have a 941 with the 172 diesel engine. I have found a tractor that is supposed to be a 741 with a 144 diesel. If the serial number is not legible, is there a way to tell the difference between the 172 diesel and the 144 diesel? I am going to look at this tractor in the morning. Any help would... -

New to the forum here guys. Will the transmission from a 900 interchange with a 901? My 901 is 4 spd and I have found a 900 with a 5 spd. Looking to get live pto into the 901 to make it more user friendly for me. Thanks for your help. -

IH 404 flywheel
I am restoring a farmall 404 myself. I have a parts tractor that has a good flywheel. Just need to split the mine to make sure it is ok. Might have a used one for sale in a couple of days.- stockman
