    How hard is it to replace the rear main seal? I guess I am more worried about getting the big nut off that holds the fly wheel and then the fly wheel off, and getting it back tight enough! How long should the job take?

    Exhaust is the same as the 1945. has an offset to get out from under the hood. Brakes look the same also. Steering wheel shaft looks bigger and wheel has roll pin holding it on. So would be hard to go to the normal steering wheel. Also discovered block on both are cracked. Knew the 45 was...

    No Nut, will have to look at it closer, looks orginal. best I remember it is three spoke and serial nunber starts with 45, making it a 1941, Right? Could get photo, but don"t know how to post.

    If you use it, copper coat will not stick that tight, However, should be ok with out it. Either way, be sure it is clean and straight.

    You may have answered my question too? I have a 1939 DC. Needs a pump, DC pump from a 50s D didn't fit. So did a 1939 still use the CC pump? If so where can I get one?
