    F-20 Rear main seal

How hard is it to replace the rear main seal? I guess I am more worried about getting the big nut off that holds the fly wheel and then the fly wheel off, and getting it back tight enough! How long should the job take?

    SC Steering Wheel

Exhaust is the same as the 1945. has an offset to get out from under the hood. Brakes look the same also. Steering wheel shaft looks bigger and wheel has roll pin holding it on. So would be hard to go to the normal steering wheel. Also discovered block on both are cracked. Knew the 45 was...

    SC Steering Wheel

Thanks for your answer, but I know what both 'correct'steering wheels look like, I have two 39 DCs and two 39 Ds. and too many newer D models to count. Guess this is something some one made, but sure don't look homemade. Also being an IH collector, I knew IH did lots of things to save rubber...

    SC Steering Wheel

No Nut, will have to look at it closer, looks orginal. best I remember it is three spoke and serial nunber starts with 45, making it a 1941, Right? Could get photo, but don"t know how to post.

    SC Steering Wheel

Have two SCs which hope to make one good one someday. One has a metal steering wheel. Appears to be made on the shaft somehow. Is this because it is a war time tractor? Is it worth any more with it?

Is There One Case Tractor That Represents the Line?

I don't understand what is meant by the term, "Farmall H represents Farmalls" If your trying to say the H was the best or the most popular Farmall, I have to strongly disagree. I was an IH collector many years before I got into CASE. I love them both, but the H is in no way better then Great...

    Perkins Head

If you use it, copper coat will not stick that tight, However, should be ok with out it. Either way, be sure it is clean and straight.

    cc dc waterpump

Didn't intend to butt in on Alan's question. For that I apologize. I know the 39 isn't the same as a latter DC. On my 39, I have the pump. Was leaking some five years ago, so was going to change it. When the one I had for the tractor didn't fit, because of alignment, we put the old one back and...

    cc dc waterpump

You may have answered my question too? I have a 1939 DC. Needs a pump, DC pump from a 50s D didn't fit. So did a 1939 still use the CC pump? If so where can I get one?
