165 Massey Ferguson diesel with Perkins engine

I have looked high and low with my magnet to fine that washer half piece. No luck finding it yet. When you say “the clutch disc is coming apart” I assume maybe just replace clutch disc or whole assembly. Still have to pull it a part. That will be fun.

165 Massey Ferguson diesel with Perkins engine

I was afraid of that. The guy that did it the first time has since went into the nursing home. I have seen several tractors separated but never have done one myself. I guess at 77 it’s time to learn.

165 Massey Ferguson diesel with Perkins engine

Had new clutch and pressure plate and throw out bearing put in 2022. It’s a dual clutch for Pto and tractor itself. When first got it back it worked fine and I used it all winter to spring moving hay. Then when I put on the sickle mower, I couldn’t put the pto in gear with tractor running. I...

I THINK IT WAS A COMPLETE OIL PUMP FROM YESTERDAY'S TRACTORS (SPAREX) I WAS THERE MOST EVERY EVENING CHECKING ON THE PROCESS. THE GUY THAT DID IT WAS AN EXPERT MECHANIC ON DIESEL AND GAS ENGINES. UNFORTUNATELY HE...
