    Yellow jackets/ wasps

    Soak an old bed sheet or blanket in gas. (don't get it dripping wet) Take stick or small poll, drape it over the nest and floor. They will leave nest and fly into it. Have use this method several times with success vs spaying and miss some of the suckers. Good luck.

    51 cub hydrallic shaft

    51 cub hydrallic pump is leaking its fluid into oil. Pull pump to replace O rings. The main drive shaft of the pump has slight wear where its O ring goes. Does this mean I need a new pump? Or is there another way to fix. Hate to re-inst it, if this wear is causing the leak and not a worn O ring...

    cub runs then cuts off

    51 cub runs fine for about 10 or 15 minutes then starts to act gas starved,then cuts off. will immediately restart but then cuts off again immediatley. I have checked wire screen in elbow fitting going into the carb and it good. Pull hex nut at bottom of carb and gas flows strong from it...

    Thanks guys. John you were right, one kit exception base on diameter of pump shaft may need separate size O ring for shaft cub if model has 1/2 shaft diameter. Ordered kit from Farmall forever website. Very knowledge folks. YT did not have it in stock. Tom

    51 cub hydrallic system

    have slow fluid leak in my hydrallic system. I think it is the O rings. The fluid leaks out over a few days time. If I add more fluid everything is fine. Could it be anything else? How hard is it to pull the hydrallic system and change all the O rings and rubber boots. Tom

    smoke coming from oil dip stick

    51 cub, use with woods belly mower, used first time this season today. Seem to have little puffs of smoke coming under top of oil dip stick. grey in color. Tractor runs ok, no loss of power.Is this something I need to send it in to have my local tractor repair shop look at??

    shifter on case 595

    having a problem with the gear shifter on my case 595.Tractor will shift easily between 1 and 2nd or 3rd and 4th positions. But it is difficult to get it to go between 1st and 3rd or 4th or vise versa or 2nd and 3rd or 4th or vise versa. Thus,it is not cross shifting. How do I fix this? Tom

    cub issue
