    Bruce, sorry about that, it was converted to 12 volts and has an unknown resistor and external coil.

    Gentlemen, would this coil ( NAPA IC-4SB) be suitable for a 2n with a gutted front mount coil? No resistor(s) would be great!

    Try "search" for '9N cut away'. There is some pictures there that might help. I imagine the engines to be similar. Although I am no expert.

    Ford 2N running issue

    I had a similiar problem. 12volt updates can add an issue or two. After your tractor has started with the jumper in place remove the jumper after a minute or so of running. If it runs OK the problem is the spark is too week to fire on low compression and cold gas. You are probably flooding the...

    Where did you check the for the spark? Your plugs maybe fouled and wet with gas from trying to start and maybe over choking.
