    Stihl 017 wont stay running

    It is the scored cylinder/piston. Even if you get it to stay running, when under a load it will fail. Get a new cylinder, Stihls are worth repairing!

    We can joke among ourselves a little. They are a proud people who do well in life. I don't make insults, so address it to j heitkemper. Still, I don't think they would care one way or another. My wife is the only Chinese import that I don't regret... does that little joke offend you too...

    Is "Chinx" the slur that j heitkemper committed above? That seems pretty minor, no? My Chinese wife is from a well-off manufacturing family, they prefer US made stuff for sure. They load up on it when they come over here.
