    I looked up the spec for the tappet gap spec. It only gives me a correct gap for hot. Does anyone have an idea of what they should be cold? Thanks for any info.

    282 diesel pre- combustion chamber cups.

    I had to get a new head and it did not come with pre-combustion chamber cups. Is there a special tool I need to put those in with? I've done them in Deere engines but havent had to do them in a farm all. Is there any other tricks to these? Thanks for any info.

    Just wondering what others do when they install the connecting rod bolts. Do you put a little locktite on them.or just torque them to spec?

    cylinder sleeve issue

    I'm working on a tractor and one of the cylinder sleeves is stuck I believe it has sleeve retaining compound holding it in. Is there a way to get that freed? Thanks for your help.

    cylinder sleeve honing

    I need to hone out the cylinder sleeves in my 560 and I'm wondering which grit I should use I have two sleeves that are scored more than the rest I plan on using a 120 grit to get those out. What grit should I use to finish? Thanks

    I bought my grandpas farmall h and I am in the process of restoring it. While I was working on it I noticed that the governor shaft housing says m&w add power governor. I've never seen one before what is the purpose of it and does it have any real benefit? Thanks for any info.

    I checked the fluid level its up to the right level. I changed the hydraulic filter thinking that would help but didn't seem to change anything. It started last spring and I thought maybe it was causes by the oil being cold but it did it all summer.
