    Ferguson 30 Steering Linkage broken. How to Fix?

    Looks like your tie rod end is worn out. A new tie rod end will fix this problem. Might want to check the one on the other end of that tie rod and also the tire rod on the other side of the tractor to see what kind of shape they are in.

    Could it be that the #2 mark is the full mark and what you are calling the #3 mark is actually where the machining of the flat spot on the dipstick stops? Not familiar with Ford tractors so just wondering.

    The wood to be cut goes on the pivoting table where the tool bag is setting and the table is pushed forward into the spinning saw blade.

    I believe the line in the top picture you are referring to is the oil line that goes to the oil pressure gauge. I can’t see enough in the bottom picture to tell what needs to come loose.

    Due to age it is difficult for me to raise the sickle bar to transport position. Has anyone devised a way to raise the sickle bar up to transport position by hydraulics or mechanical methods. Thanks in advance for all your ideas, Thomas
