This the strangest PTO Lever Location on Ford 850?
Believe your tractor had an Elenco MFWD axle on it at one point in time. That looks like the pto lever used when the front axle drive box was placed where the circular inspection cover on the rear center housing is normally. Just a thought. -

Ford 601 picker value
I have a gentlemen interested in the Ford 601 Corn Picker I have. Curious on a ball park value of such an implement. Its in average working condition. I've used it to pick a couple fields years ago. 830 three cylinder hydraulic issues
That is the valve body under the right floor board correct? Had that apart a few years ago and replaced some leaking oring. Would this also explain why the hitch doesn't seem to follow the hitch control lever position in the middle part of the quadrant? The lift arms seem to follow the control...- nwford

I have an 830 three cylinder utility tractor. For the last year the three point hitch will no cycle up until the scv lever is cycled. Can hear the pump build pressure the the hitch will lift. Ford 5000 clutch and PTO input shaft

841 differential center housing
I'm working on an early 841 tractor. There is a slight crack someone appears to have welded on the differential casting. It has NDA 4024B cast into it. Would the center differential casting from a 860 be the same? Or what models would I be looking for? -

960 hitch pulsates while trying to lift
I replaced the valves in the pump. Pump seals and bearing. New gaskets. Reinstalled the original pump that I rebuilt back onto the tractor. Bled the system. Started the tractor back up and it's doing the same thing. hitch pulsates or shakes slower with weight on it. -

I have bled both pumps by removing the plug on the head section of the hyd pump, installing a hose barb fitting, a hose and routing it to the fill port on the rockshaft. I've started the tractor and let it run for a couple minutes on both pumps. Reinstalled the plug and still same pulsation in... -

Ford 3000 flywheel turning specs
Working on the clutch in my 1974 3000. It has the dual stage clutch in it. Have some small heat cracks in the flywheel. Does anyone have the service bulletin or info on how much can be surfaced off of one of these? Every one around my are is more familiar with green or red. -

Ford 601 Mounted corn picker
I'm beginning to think maybe mine is mounted to low then. With the PTO shaft level with the floor it is several inches under the PTO on the tractor. Also the park stand is several inches too long to fit under the hushing unit the way it is mounted now. <img...- nwford

Ford 601 Mounted corn picker
The tag I found on the husking unit shows it to be a 16-123 if that helps any. It seems the main drive pulley and shaft is a lot lower than the pto shaft on the back of my tractor. The online new Holland parts catalog shows the support for the main drive bearing having two sets of slotted holes...- nwford

Ford 601 Mounted corn picker
I have what appears to be home made angle iron brackets. The holes to mount the picker to the angle iron appear a lot closer to the axle on the picture you posted than mine. The holes in mine are about 4" or 5" down from the bottom of the axle.- nwford
