1963 Ford 4000
I have a 1963 Ford 4000 4 cyl. diesel with SOS trans. What fluids do I use in the Transmission, rear-end and for hydra.? Also does any of these have a filter? -

Farmall 560 Hydraulic
Where do you check and fill the hydraulic oil on a 560.If it helps the serial number is 19427 S-Y. Thank you in advance. John- MoJohn

Larry NCKS- Ford 4000 Question
Larry I just put another pto cable on my 1963 Ford 4000 with Select O Speed.When I start the tractor the pto runs a little with the pto pushed in,but when i pull the pto you can feel the pto to actually kick in and run.Also the pto will run when the clutch is fully depressed.Is this normal or... -

Larry my number reads 33396.There may be another number in front of this but I can't read it.Also are you familiar with the pull out type of PTO? -

I have bought a 62-64 Ford 4000 with a 4 cyl. Diesel and select-o-speed transmission.Paid $2700.00. Where do I find the serial number on this tractor? Thank You -

I would take $2500.00 for the pair.The gasoline needs 2 rims, I have the tires and tubes.The diesel would take a lot of work as I bought it as a parts tractor.The 85 is a gas hog and parts are not very plentiful.In my area there are about 2 of them that I know of and I have them...- MoJohn

M-F 85
I have a complete running M-F 85 gasoline tractor and a partial MF 85 Diesel(HD-277).Would I be better off to partout the gasoline or sell both of them as a unit?Also what would be a fair asking price for both.- MoJohn
