    9N Draft Control ...

I'm currently replacing the draft control parts on my 9N. Threads on the plunger were frozen, had to cut it out. My question is: The spring plate is worn pretty badly, where the spring and the plate meet. Should I replace it or will it work okay?

    9N top lift cover bolts

Thanks, the bolt for the 9N draft control was frozen on my tractor. I had to cut it out and purchase parts to rebuild. I will definately be using anti-sieze on this bolt, and turning it often, to keep it free. The threads appear to be extra fine.

    9N top lift cover bolts

There are 14 bolts in the cover:4-3-5/8", 3-2-1/2", and 7-1-1/2". The reason i'm asking, I ordered a used set and it came with one odd bolt; 1-1/16". I broke one of the 1-1/2" bolts , last time I replaced the cover. If it should have been 1-1/16". that could be the reason. If anyone knows...

    9N touch control adjustment

Sorry, JMOR. Instead of draft, I meant to say 'touch control'. I tried to adjust it, but adjustment has no effect on when the 3-point arms start dropping. Mine starts dropping at 6-1/2", regardless of the adjustment to the touch control.

    9N touch control adjustment

I recently rebuilt my 9N top cylinder and cleaned the hydraulic pump. Everything works good, but the fork assembly/control valve is sticking, just before entering chamber for pressure. I can take a screwdriver and gently pry on the fork assembly and the control valve engages. Seems to me the...

    9N Ford Hydraulics problem..

yes, the fluid was calm; non pouring out of the top, like it was before the rebuild. When I pull the inspection plate again. I'm going to loosen the valve caps and pour some oil into each of them. What do you think?

    9N Ford Hydraulics problem..

I replaced the safety valve, cleaned the valve chambers, and connected the wishbone to the control valve. I changed the pto because I wanted the 1-3/8". I drove the tractor around for over 30 minutes today, nothing changed. Won't lift the arms at all.

    9N Ford Hydraulics problem..

The control valve is new and is moving in and out freely, while moving the touch control arm. I made very sure it was connected properly to the fork assembly.
