    governor washer

    My governor's not working. The new governor came with a washer to put behind it. When I put it on and tightened the nut down the balls would bind up. So I didn't install the washer. Could this explain why the governor doesn't work at all?

    Gas gauge MF50

    My 1956 MF50 didn't come with a gas gauge. My gas tank does not have the hole for the sending unit. Looks like it would be easy to install one. Anyone know any reason why I couldn't do this? Wouldn't it work?

    Valve Stem Caps

    Rebulding my Cont Z134. Found that there are no stem caps on the intake or exhaust valves. Could this be the case? I am positive they did not fall off when I was dissasembling. Does this mean they are not necessary on this model engine?

    Cant turn final drive

    I just got through putting new seals and bearings in my final drive for my MF50. With the new seals it's so tight I can barely turn the shafts by hand. Is this normal???
