Is there 2 styles of regulator?The one by the step on mine is a little black rubber with a bolt going through it grounding it to the step. -

Hey I want to know where the Charging system regulator is located on a Ford 7710 series II.I've replaced the alternator and starter and it still won't charge properly.I've got it narrowed down to this problem and Just need to know where the heck its located on the tractor.Thanks in advance guys. -

Ford 9700 Turbo Gasket Problem.
Debating whether or not to have it milled.The manifold is clearly warped.I can fit a 0.010 feeler gauge between the manifold and the turbo.I prefer not to use silicone if possible but like you guys said if need be I can even though I don't like it. -

I"m going to give the NH dealer a call in the morning on that 1/8" gasket.The manifold appears to be warped so I might have to have it milled but thats a last resort as I don"t want to have to modify the turbo lube lines.Thanks for the advice I will do that if I can make that gasket if I can"t... -

Ford 9700 Turbo Gasket Problem.
Well I am working on a Neighbors 9700.So I took of the exhaust manifold to get to the turbo turbine gasket.The guy who fixed it before me put the gasket on backwards so it was all bent up.So I replaced it with a new metal gasket and torqued it to specifications of the I T manual.Still leaks... -

Tw5 Dual Power
You can remove the valve and flow test the pump directly to see where the problem lies. Ok so I take off the reg. valve then how do I flow test the pump? -

I am curious to know if early 4020 cylinder heads could be swapped with later 4020 cylinder heads? IF it is possible what is the best way of telling if it has been swapped? The reason I ask this is my uncle has a 4020 serial # T 76493 which according to Outland's 2002 serial # book is a 1964...- TwBen

Did the Late 5000's use a CAV Rotary pump?
I'm curious here I have really never seen a 5000 with any thing but a Minimec inline pump.However the one my uncle is looking at has the CAV rotary pump.Which in my opinion is not as good.It gets the job done but I just prefer inline pumps.Any way back to the Question did the Later 5000's have a... -

Oil filter conversion bolt size
The bolt size should be 3/4.If it's like the 8000 and 8600 I am currently working on at the Impliment dealership. -

How Reliable is a Ford CL35 skidloader?
