My 1999 Ford V-10 LOWER Intake Manifold is of an Aluminum construction.....
My to drop in Engine, is from a 2000 Motor Home (20,000 miles)with NO EGR PIPE from the Exhaust Manifold /
Manifolds.....NEVER did have the EGR system installed...
The drop in Engine has a referred to PLASTIC composition LOWER intake manifold...
Any one with direct experience as to the out come if and when the EGR PIPEING was to be installed with the PLASTIC
composition LOWER intake manifold on the 2000 V-10.......??????
My reading thus far, has informed me the following must be swapped. FUEL INJECTORS, electrical Harness to fuel
injectors , FUEL GAS REGULTOR , Engine OIL FILTER mounting HOUSING, Engine OIL Pan,(possibly Engine OIL PUMP and or
Suction pipe to oil pump) both Engine Mounts, Engine oil Dipstick, Power Steering pump Bracket,
I'm quite prepared to SWAP complete INTAKE manifolds if I must!
I would rather NOT have to swap Manifolds.
PICS are from Internet, as I have NOT dismantled either the 1999 or the 2000 Intake manifolds...
