2-70 white?

Driving home with 2-70 it started squealing midsection of tractor. Reduced throttle, sound was less. Short distance came to stop, push in clutch noise quit. I was 1/8 mile from home, so I eased it along,noticed a vibration. Pulled into drive, shifting into lower gear, sound not noticeable and can’t feel vibration. Anyone have anything similar,or ideas what is wrong? TIA.

could be an unusual loading between the transmission input shaft and the crankshaft pilot bushing/bearing.
